Oldies Music

I think the older songs sound better. No techno beats. No TERRIBLE voices. Lyrics that mean something & are coherent. I like them. The new musical samples out there are usually one track. Sex, violence, more sex, more violence. Gets monotonous after a while. While I know that there won't be a return to those days, I still wish they would. Just so I can play a cd without hearing voice overs or digitized enhancements. I like the natural stuff. By the way, I honestly don't know if there was any of that in the 60's or 70's but I coubt it. If you know for sure, let me know. Thanks. Later.

Oh, Mel, you are becoming one of the "old" ones, full of memories and longing for yesteryear. Yes, digitalized music is a creation of this generation. Yes, the oldies of the '60s & '70s were strange in that they had unique tunes you could whistle. Try that with many pop tunes of today! The validity of their uniquity is that they are yet endlessly played today- 3 and 4 decades later. I too could go on and on about the niceties of yesteryear, but my age like your's would show too. "Those were the days my friend, we thot they'd never end.... "
