one team beating another has absolutely nothing to do with the winning team being brighter than the other. School's challenge quiz is simply about who can retain the most knowledge and spit it out faster than the other. most schools will tell you that the persons who do compete int the quiz are not at all the brightest at the school but those who can find the time to go through the training which often requires very long hours. if doing well in schools' challenge quiz implies which school has brighter students why do schools like glenmuir, manchester and calabar who often do well in the quiz do so very poorly in external exams? why do schools like campion thought of as a joke where quiz is concerned yet their students do so well in what really matters, their exams?
i'm not arguing or anything but just letting you know views on the matter.
