UWI vs. UTECH vs. NCU vs. UCC

I think that UWI is highly overrated. The staff has a reputation for lack of growth, the programmes aren't student focussed & not geared for practicality. They also don't prepare the students for the corporate world. The girls look great though. Not sure if most of the guys are "straight" though but the girls are great. Did i mention that the girls are great? Overall, the university needs to become more student focussed so that we amy receive more value for our money.

UTECH is a textbook case of a bureaucracy gone mad. It's basically an expensive secondary school. To be fair though, their courses are centred on practicality & when you leave, you can fit in easily in a corporate environment. The girls are good looking too but the UWI ones have an edge (for now). Overall, UTECH is the best place to get practical tertiary education locally. Poor us!

NCU is the Seventh Day Adventist church's university. It's in country. Not the most fun place in the world & you can't eat meat on campus! Which makes me wonder why people go there. They seem to have a good program but still not as well-known as the first two. I wish them all the best but I wouldn't get to go there as I LOVE my pork!

UCC is the union of IMP & IMS. They seem to be where education needs to go. They are relatively new but their programs seem to be more relevant than many I've seen. THey also have close ties with overseas universities (eg. FIU) & their name on my degree is another thing people would look for. We'll see how they continue to go.
