Got this from a friend ( hop you guys appreciate these hints.)

The following rules are intended as a helpful guide for ladies uncertain of what is the proper procedure and behaviour. The following are a few of the main do and donts but individual situations may vary. For example situations of a one night stand, coveting your breddrins girl/sister or in cases of extreme blue ba%%s Worried you may find youself above these rules due to your positions of power over us men at that moment of time.

Applicable to wifeys and sistrens and ahem ahem "friends":

- Do always dress appropriately before entering the car... no hair nets, curlers or shower caps Refuse ( I cannot stress this one enough)

- Do not invite some of your friends for a ride unless they look as good as you or are at the very least are easy.

- Do not under any circumstance change the radio station unless (pay attention now) you ask permission first, have just/or are imminently about to give up some, are a wifey and have earned the right to change the station without warning or know driver long enough as a sistren to know he would like the station changed

- Do not tell me how to drive and dont tell me to change the car

- Do offer to feed fries or other finger food to the driver while driving if you have wifey status

- If you look good and have sistrin status or even acquaintance status do expect to be posed off with. You and the driver know nothing is going on but other drivers don't know that and the driver may like to keep it that way. So do not move away if driver slides towards the centre of the car in classic hubby position. You will receive many points and assure yourself of many future rides if you allow him this small ego boost.

- If you have long hair do toss it from side to side on occasion.

- Do not wear a baseball cap unless you look damn good in it, driver likes the sporty look or your hair looks like @!@#

- If you have wifey status then give driver at least one "oh honey you kicked his ass" for every 5 "okay that's enough now.. slow down.. I'm serious"

- Do not adjust drivers reverse mirror or side mirror unless you are teasing said driver with some tongue play (driver's eyes must be visible to you in mirror if you pull this move)

- Know that mini skirts are more appropriate front seat attire than pants or a long dress.

- Do wear a sexy or sweet smelling perfume or body splash if you are going to insist on being drive with A/C

- Do realize that Front seat appearance is a privilege.... NOT A RIGHT and you privilege may be suspended without notice (especially in cases of those with non wifey status) for example for mothers, long lost breddrins or business situations. When faced with one of these situations remove yourself from the front seat and jump into the back on said persons approach and like it.
(NB) there is an exception to this rule. If you are not/or not yet wifey you will gain many points by going into the back before being asked and saying "it's cool you stay in the front" when offered the front seat back by driver or passenger. HOWEVER IF and only IF you are looking hot, very hot that day and driver wishes your presence beside him then if driver insists more than twice that you stay in front then you should do so. You can feel good.. very good. You are on your way up.

Halloween

This is the most important day in satan’s calendar. October 31. Look for a lot of murders around then. And abductions too. I may sound alarmist but we need to start being cognizant of the enemy’s schemes do we can limit the evil in our society. We all know the existence of satanic groups in Jamaica. We know their calendar so why don’t we start combining prayer with action. I strongly believe that most Christians are afraid of satan and reuse to confront him & his agents. I believe that as long as the Holy Spirit is in me, then I am invincible. I’ll try my best to limit the satanist’s effect on my society. I am just one person but I pray to the living God. What say you?

Police being killed

There have been 13 policemen killed since the start of the year. I really am sorry for the families of these policemen especially those killed in the line of duty but we must look at their colleagues. Why can’t we catch cop-killers? Why is it so difficult? Why are there never any “stones left unturned” but still the killers escape? I think that there is still an inherent weakness in the investigation skills and their focus on reacting instead of proacting. Just my opinion. Word of advice to the police though. STOP GOING TO BARS!!! Too many of you get shot in them. Don’t you guys get the hint yet? Be careful and more aware of your surroundings. I appreciate you all despite the fact that too many of you are either corrupt., stupid or both. Let’s hope next year will have none of you killed. Later.

Job hunt

I got a job but did I? I am wondering. I got the job offer but not in writing now the guy is reneging on it. I was disappointed though but then again, I’m still wondering if God is calling me to ministry. Hope not as I like working & I want to earn my keep. Please be praying for me though as I’m getting low in spirit but trying to hold out. Later.

Fuel Prices

Have you seen the fuel prices these days? It’s now at $55 per liter for diesel & $63 per liter for gasoline. This translates to $275 per gallon & $315 per gallon respectively. At latest exchange rates, this amounts to more than US$4 per gallon and US$5 per gallon respectively. This is not good! Now I’ve realized the good of speed limits. It’s the most economical pace to drive. It now takes JA$2700 to fill my tank up from JA$1200 about a year ago. This is more than double! At this rate, it’s going to be better if we rode bicycles. But I know no Jamaican motorist is going to do that. Pride is at stake. Let’s hope that we can start driving with our eye on the fuel level & make better choices concerning our driving habits. Also, let’s pray that God orchestrates something to cause a drop in fuel prices before it gets ridiculous. Later.

Babsy & Tickerus' death.

They didn’t want to kill babsy, If they did, she would’ve been dead. They wanted Tickerus. They got him. But 2 hours later, the guy who planned it, got killed in reprisal. Welcome to Spanish town, where 2 gangs control the town & the “enforcers” on both sides know each other so well as they all went to school together! Weird isn’t it? Just goes to show that law enforcement in our country is ineffective without community policing. The mere fact that that each gang knows the other side’s members means that everyone knows everyone else in this town and there is no such thing as “random” killings here except in rare cases where bystanders or witnesses were “in the way”. For some perverse reason, it makes me feel safe here, as I don’t fear random crime. It just means that if I’m robbed or murdered, it was definitely me that was to be the victim. Right or wrong, that’s my opinion. We’ll see how this thing goes as Tickerus was a top enforcer for his side. Reprisals coming?

Chubby Dread

They tried to kill you twice before. You are an area leader who others want dead. Yet you still go out at night without ensuring your safety? Are you an idiot? I am not saying you deserve death but you were very careless and you should’ve known better. The time you were at the nightclub with girls (incidentally not his common-law wife), you could’ve been securing your turf. Just my opinion. Live by the gun, die by the gun. I am sorry you died a sinner though. Hell doesn’t sound like fun this side of death. Later.

Tivoli Gardens & its "maternal" powers

You get intelligence that says the 3 wanted men and some guns are in the community, You go in with 600 police & soldiers, surround the community & could only find 30 cell phones? Then you hold a press conference and pronounce the operation a success? Please! Unless the success is concerning an unknown (to the public) objective. You know how much money was wasted to engineer this latest operation? Why do they pick on Tivoli so much? The PNP garrisons are more numerous & are more crime-ridden so why focus on Tivoli, which has seen NO murders since the beginning of the year. I think it’s blatant hypocrisy on the part of the security forces. As a matter of fact, I believe they are being used as pawns to draw attention away from certain governmental “activities” & their consequences. Bruce isn’t much better though as he had no reason to be there and he broke the curfew to boot. He should be arrested as he broke the law. I don’t see why they hesitating to do so. Just because he’s opposition leader doesn’t give him the right to break the law! The JDF said that Tivoli is the mother of all garrisons in Jamaica. That is true but the PNP has about 15 while the JLP only has about 3. So who’s the greater agent of garrison politics now? Is the JDF descending into cheap politicking also? That would add a scary new dimension to our country’s development. Let’s hope not. Right now, both the police & army seem to be pro-government. What will happen if the JLP wins the next election? Interesting possibilities. Just a thought.

Church

Wore shirt & tie to church recently. Everyone seemed surprised. Don’t think I’ll do it again for a while. Too much attention. I feel that I need to show God more respect though so I am now making the effort to dress for church. Not for people, mind you but too show God that I’m sacrificing my time & energy to prepare myself to go to His house.

I don’t like dressy clothes. Just not me but I will wear them if the occasion DEMANDS it. Please be praying for me, as I need to start dressing the part that God is positioning me to have. Thanks.

JPS and blackouts

The CEO of JPS, Mr. Charles Matthews, is suggesting power cuts & daylight saving time as ways of saving money & cutting down fuel costs. Is he real? Do you really think that this would cut your already illogical light bill? I mean if you are not at home, living in a studio or quad & your bill is the same as someone with a 3 bedroom house who stays home all day what hope do you have of actually seeing a reduction in your bill no matter what “cost-cutting” measures are taken? Just my opinion. So when we get these power cuts, what happens during emergencies? Won’t production be also cut & hence the countries GDP? Am I thinking too much? Am I the only one thinking? To top it all off, Mr. Matthews is saying that to Mirant, JPS was a bad investment. If that’s the case why don’t they sell it? They made US$10 million last quarter and that’s a bad investment? Interesting. I believe that the JPS is deliberately misinforming the public and I hope that the government will wake up & do its regulatory duties without more delay. Whither the OUR?

Class

I honestly believe in class & levels. You have races but there are different levels of people in these races. For example some people don’t know how to use knives and forks, while others prefer to use the outdoors instead of the bathroom to relieve themselves. I personally think that high class is an asset. It’s good to be crude & vulgar sometimes in Jamaica as you get more done when you dealing with lower classes and mentalities but overall having class & propriety is great. That’s my thought. It may sound patronizing but it’s not. For too long people excuse uncouth behavior by calling it “keeping it real”. Are real people supposed to be the same level as animals? Or higher than them? Remember the Word of God. Nuff said. Later.

Christianity in the world today.

I fear that Christianity is undergoing its greatest persecution since the first century. Everything that we have been through as the true church pales in comparison to what is being done to us now. It is happening on all fronts. Legally, professionally, familially, ecclesiastically, culturally, societally, musically, scientifically you name it, there’s a calculated form of anti-Christian bias in it. It is now politically incorrect to believe in absolute morality. It is much easier to leave morals & subsequently ethics to your mood at the particular time of day. This is tragic. Am I being an alarmist? You are free to think so but when our religion is being reduced to switching places with homosexuality in that “it’s ok only when done between or among consenting adults behind closed doors” then it’s time we wake up, don our armor & man the barricades. We are the victors over satan but most of us are yet to claim our spoils. This is just a warning to those Christians busy being friendly with the world system and effectively straddling the fence that the time of reckoning cometh nigh. Be very careful how you live. As God said, walk circumspectly. Later.

Euthanasia

Do you believe in euthanasia? It is the also known as “mercy killing”. This is when patients with terminal illnesses are allowed to have themselves killed to end their suffering. Is it humane or is it murder? I don’t think it’s scriptural as only God should determine the end of your days & if you try to hasten the process, I consider it murder. That’s my view but I am willing to hear opposite views as long as they have evidence & logical arguments.

Pornography

Why are we allowing pornography to be sold in stores? They claim that only buyers over 18 will be served but get real. How many businesses REALLY put morals above profits? I am a bit cynical especially when I hear 4 year olds discussing the latest sexual positions. This hurts me a lot. as their minds have already been poisoned and we as adults are not being effective shields against the immoral filth that’s flooding society. Legislation is one thing. Enforcement is entirely another. Guys, let’s pray that God will give us direction & new, effective ideas to combat this scourge. Later.

Abortion

Is it murder if the baby is unborn? Is it murder if the baby is killed before 6 weeks? These are the questions puzzling me. I need to understand the reasoning of the pro-choice people, as I need to know when humanity begins for a fetus. It is said that based on the court case Doe vs. Dade, an infant is not a person until 18 months and thus can be “terminated”. If there are any of you who believe this out there, let me know why you do please. For my own benefit. Thanks.

My personality acording to tickle. (part 1)

I did these tests at tickle. you can go there for your own tests. These tests are uncannily accurate. I was cynical at first but they seem close to the mark. What do you think guys? let me know.

The Career Makeover

Mel, you're an Architect!

For you, the world is like one giant puzzle, just waiting to be solved. In your undying quest for the truth, you're best at finding solutions to complex problems. Lucky for all of us, though, you love to share your brilliant thoughts. Your keen analytical skills and understanding of others makes you a vital player in the think tank. You thrive on the collaborative problem-solving process, could trouble shoot for NASA, and won't rest until the questions are answered. The world could use a few more like you.

Who's like you:
Sigmund Freud

Likely careers:
Psychologist, lawyer, market researcher, military strategist, PR strategist

Career Personality Test

Similar to the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® Instrument

Mel, your career personality type is ISTJ

That means that based on the standard measure of personality traits, you have a quiet determination and sharp mind — you're very focused and buckle down when it comes to work. You are the type of person one looks to in a crisis. While others may provide emotional support in a situation, your clear and logical thinking allows you to solve the problem at hand.

You are adaptable and can work independently or on a team. You are a careful thinker and get all the details before making any decisions. You don't jump to conclusions and stick with the facts provided. In other words, you're the go-to person for the real story, not the spin or gossip. While others may view you as a bit stubborn at times, they begrudgingly respect your ethics and straightforward approach.

The reason employers and recruiters might be on the lookout for you is that only about 7% of the U.S. population shares the unique characteristics of your personality type. Research shows that businesses succeed when employers create a good balance of personality types in the office. And since only 7% of the U.S. population shares your type, that means employers are looking for you.

The Confidence Test

Show The World What You're Really Made Of

Mel, your confidence level is high

As a result, you may tend view yourself as a wonderful, lucky, or energized person. However you probably also have your days when you don't feel so hot. After all, you're only human. Because of your usual high level of self-acceptance and belief in yourself, you're generally open and accepting of others. People who come in contact with you likely appreciate this generous nature and may seek out your company.

Your intelligence seems to be the trait that you most value in yourself of the five main traits that affect confidence. You also seem to appreciate this characteristic in others.

How Do You Connect?

Mel, your connection type is The Networker

There's no doubt about it: You like to be in the know, and you spend a lot of time checking in with friends and family to find out what they're up to. You're a networker in the most natural sense and probably are better at keeping other people in touch than they are. What is it about you? Your easy-going style, your sincere desire to hook up the people you like in your life? You're just someone who doesn't take relationships for granted. You're probably still in touch with the kids you met at camp years ago — and you plan on keeping the friends you have now forever.

You love hooking your friends up with one another, and your friends might tease you about your obsession with matchmaking — but they know when they need a place to crash in Chicago, or a lead on a cool new job for the summer, that you're the person who can really connect them with a place to stay, some free concert tix, a new friend, a new job...

The Corporate Culture Test

Where Do You Fit In?

Mel, you'll thrive in a corporate culture that allows you to be a Stabilizer

Others can breath a sigh of relief when you're around because you're so reliable. You thrive in environments that have a sense of structure to them, and you're probably known as someone who is solid and can take care of yourself. You also have a good sense of how well you're doing at work and are typically loyal to the companies you work for.

But you won't get far if you're working for a company that's not based on a system that values your contributions. What kind of work environment will really let you shine?

What's Your Destiny?

Finding Your Purpose in Life

Mel, your destiny is to be a Provider

Whether you know it or not, this is the role that is most in tune with who you are at your core. As a Provider, you have a genuine nurturing concern for the welfare of others and you're eager to serve them. You can recognize exactly what people need and your friendly, helpful, social nature makes them feel comforted. With your kind and generous heart, you are personable, talkative, and outward with your emotions, and your openness and sensitivity makes you concerned about the way others view you. Along these lines, be careful not to blame yourself when things go wrong. You cannot prevent bad things from happening, even though your tendency to be orderly with a strong sense of right and wrong may lead you to believe you can. Accept that you do what you can to take care of things and that this will get you far in the world.

The Emotional IQ Test

How People-Smart Are You?

Mel, your Emotional IQ is 117.

This number is the result of a formula based on how many questions you answered correctly on Tickle's Emotional IQ test. But your Emotional IQ score is much more than just a number: it's an indicator of success.

Research has shown that people with high emotional intelligence scores — not necessarily those with the highest IQ scores — tend to be the most valued and productive employees and have the longest and happiest romantic relationships.

So, where are you most emotionally smart? Your test results show that your strongest suit is emotional management — how much you let your emotions affect the world around you.

This is not to say, however, that emotions never contribute to your decisions. At times the emotions you are having are appropriate guides for your actions. And with your keen sense of emotional management, you'll know when and where to base decisions upon them.

Research indicates that if people who are strong emotional managers can work to increase their overall emotional IQ score, they can prepare themselves to handle any interpersonal exchange with amazing skill — especially by learning to be empathetic of others and by being able to express what it is they are feeling or trying to say.

Which Executive Are You?

Okay, time to confess: You've always loved that Randy Newman song "It's Money That I Love," haven't you? Don't worry — that's not a problem. In fact, it actually gives you an advantage in this bottom-line-focused rat race. Not to mention that it makes you an ideal CFO. Chief financial officers are all about money, from accounts payable to petty cash. Since you're detail-oriented and a consummate perfectionist, you'd be great at making sure all the columns on the spreadsheet add up right. Minding the books is hard work, but you love a challenge. Who knows? If this works out, you could end up like Scrooge McDuck and have a giant money bin to swim in. (Mind if we come over for a dip?) No doubt about it, there's a promotion in your future. So keep up the good work!

The 5-Factor IPIP Personality Test

What Makes You Unique?

Mel, your most unique quality is that you're unusually Conscientious

You are the kind of person others depend on. You're competent, self-disciplined, and able to carry through with any plan you create. You've just got it together. You're also good at weighing the pros and cons of any situation and making sound, well-informed decisions. Compared to others who are conscientious, you are unusually competent, knowing what to do when needed, and confident that you will do it well. Only 2.3% of all test takers have this unique combination of personality strengths.

While this says a lot about you, there is much more to you than this. The 5-Factor IPIP Personality Test measures you on 30 unique personality traits, backed by over 70 years of personality research. This enables us to provide you with the most thorough, in-depth personality assessment available to you.

Career Interest Inventory

Take Stock of What You Really Like to Do

Mel, based on your responses, your top career area is Math and Science

Careers in this field often demand that you enjoy thinking analytically, have strong reasoning skills and the ability to approach a problem from a variety of angles. You're not content to just question — you're motivated to test your ideas to see if they are right. Even if it's not a common perception, people who enjoy the Math and Sciences are highly imaginative and intuitive.

Organization
Order! Order! Your strong organizational skills make you an excellent candidate for success as a leader. Your talent for keeping everything in the right place means that you can concentrate on more important tasks. And once you've organized your workplace, your overall productivity increases by leaps and bounds.

less efficient

more efficient

Efficiency
Do it once, and make it count! Since you're the poster child for workplace efficiency and follow-through, that could be your motto. You have a keen understanding of how work works, and you know how to make things happen — which translates into excellent leadership potential. While others are still spinning their wheels, you've sped off, leaving skid marks behind you.

less team-oriented

more team-oriented

Teamwork
Go, team, go! Your sense of teamwork is so strong you're practically out on the field doing cheers. Which is great — the ability to communicate and work closely with others is essential to good leadership. Team-building skills are the foundation of all interactions with your co-workers and can set the tone at work. So give yourself a pat on the back — your talent in this area gives you a real leadership edge.

less confident

more confident

Confidence
You're a born leader ... and you know it! Confidence is a key component of leadership. And it's more than just feeling sure of yourself. It's about tackling new situations without being held back by any doubts. Your strong confidence level lets you focus your energies on success and truly shine as a leader at work.

The Multiple Intelligences Test

Six Kinds of Smart

Mel, you're smartest when it comes to logical/mathematical intelligence

While others may have dreaded their math and science classes at school, these subjects were probably no sweat for you. In fact you may have even thought they were fun. Your logical/mathematical intelligence makes you the type who can enjoy working with numbers or thinking through difficult questions to arrive at a solution.

Whether you realize it or not, this strength has likely been a help to you throughout your life — not just in the classroom. This is true because for work or recreation, people like you can tend to rely on your logical/mathematical intelligence to look at the world. From noticing patterns of behavior in people to being able to appreciate the visual beauty in a repeated design, your special brand of intelligence can make life both interesting and rewarding.

Are You an Optimist or a Pessimist?

pessimist

optimist

Well, everything's not quite roses and teddy bears for you, but you do tend to look on the bright side of life (we can hear those Monty Python boys whistling right now...). Sure, you sometimes bitch and moan about your problems (who doesn't?), but deep down you're pretty sure that everything will eventually turn out fine. When the weather man says it's going to be sunny, you leave your umbrella at home. In general, you like to be around people, and you try to make new friends when you can. You do your best to take things at face value, rather than making mountains out of molehills. Basically, the world is sort of like a big coconut to you: tough and hairy on the outside, but, when you get down into it, there's good stuff inside.

Are You a Perfectionist?

less perfectionist

more perfectionist

Appearance

A few hairs out of place? A wrinkle or two? No skin off your nose. You strike us as someone who's pretty lax when it comes to your appearance. Chances are you don't have a strict regimen for getting ready in the morning (or any time, for that matter), and you definitely don't feel the need to always look your best. And it is nice to give yourself permission to dress down — just make sure you don't dress down all the way to "slob"!

less perfectionist

more perfectionist

Possessions

Looks like you might slack off a bit when it comes to taking care of your possessions. Since you don't need your surroundings to be neat and organized, and every little trinket doesn't have to have a spot to call home, the condition of your things isn't a big concern. Clothes? Furniture? CDs and books? They're there to be enjoyed, not preserved for generations to come, so you probably don't invest too much time in taking care of them. And it's fine by you if everything isn't always in peak shape. Being mellow about your stuff is great, but if you want to save yourself some money in replacement costs and extend the lifespan of your possessions, it's worth spending a little time maintaining them.

less perfectionist

more perfectionist

Work

We can tell that you prefer to turn in top-notch work and always invest a significant amount of pride in every task you take on. But you also understand that it's important to have an open mind and a flexible attitude at work. That's why you're able to occasionally let your personal standards slide a little when your employer needs you to. So you stay open to change, while at the same time remaining organized and efficient enough to plan out a day or week at a time. Keep up the good balance!

What's Your Power Hour?

Mel, you're Sharp at Sunset

That's right, when the sun goes down, your energy and creativity go way up. This is your on time, when you're most inspired thoughts come pouring in and when you're most motivated to venture out. Are you into sports, dinner parties, or just hanging out with friends as the sun sinks out of sight? We thought so. Because that's the time of day that really empowers you and makes you feel alert.

You're especially dynamic at dinner, cocktail parties, and early evening functions, when your persistent wit and wisdom are at their finest. And after dinner, when everyone else is putting on their jackets and preparing to head home, you're the kind of person who stays alert, inquisitive, and ready for more world-changing conversation.

Being such a superstar at sunset has its drawbacks too. Right when you're coming up with your most fantastic ideas, most of the world is too tired to listen. Sure, this might leave you with a limited audience from time to time, but when you're on, you're on, and those lucky enough to be around value your enthusiasm. But even superstars hit a slump at some point in the day. That's when you need to remind yourself that there are tricks to get you through. Like grabbing an extra cup of coffee, getting some fresh air, or taking a power shower to rejuvenate you. And when that happens, there's no stopping you. Every hour can be your power hour!

The Power Quotient

Test Your Power and Influence

Mel, on a scale of 1-100, your Power Quotient is 86!

This number is based on how you answered the questions in this test and how you compare to others.

Your power style is Fearless. This means you're the kind of person other people look to for answers. You speak your mind and are a natural leader. Your blunt, no-nonsense style and your ability to get the job done command the respect and admiration of those around you.

We also measured you on 5 different psychological scales to uncover what makes you influential and reveal how others see you.

What's Your Best Quality?

Use What You've Got to Get What You Want

Mel, your best quality shines through in how Determined you are

The fact that you're a person with a strong will who is typically determined to follow through on difficult demands and meet important goals really draws people to you! But that's not the only thing. Your answers on the test indicate you're an independent person who is usually able to handle things in a self-sufficient manner. You are a smart person who is more able to understand complex concepts than many other people are, too.

In all, there are 15 qualities that help define you when you're at your best. Those are the traits potential employers, friends, and partners look for in you. What makes you unique is your particular distribution of those 15 qualities.

We've found that your particular combination of qualities is rare — only 2 in 10,000 people share the same general mix of traits. Those are great odds if you're trying to show a potential employer, colleague, friend, or date why you're exactly the right person for them.

Mel, the right jobs for you would allow you to be

Strategic and Creative

As a Strategic type, you want to be able to express yourself and your ideas through work. Sure there's a time and place for rules and procedures, but when a good thought strikes you, you don't want it to be boxed into one way of thinking. You're willing to go outside the rules if there's a chance that the risk will reap big rewards.

You are stronger than most when it comes to generating ideas. And because of this, it might sometimes feel easier to take on all aspects of a job yourself instead of wasting time explaining it to someone else who might not "get it" like you do. But because you have so many ideas and are willing to take on so much, you might find that you sometimes have trouble finishing every project you start.

Your diplomacy and adaptability make you a valuable asset. But your need to feel invested in a company that allows you to express your original ways of thinking will ultimately impact how happy you are in the workplace.

What's Your Secret to Success?

Mel, your secret to success is your Balancing Skills

From your home or job to your family and social life, an active and busy person like you has a lot on your plate. But that doesn't mean that you let it get you down or get the better of you. Quite the opposite — having a packed calendar and too much to do is probably just the way you like it.

Whether you've got a million items on your to-do list or just a few big ones, you've got a knack for keeping track of things and staying on top of them. Where some might sink under an avalanche of duties, projects, and appointments, it's your time to rise to the top and show off your true talents. Way to shine!

Mel, your secret to success is to be Proactive

You are a born leader with a take-charge attitude. Unlike many people who believe problems will simply go away if you give them enough time, you're one to tackle the obstacles in your path head-on.

Part of being proactive means you can aggressively anticipate the future and work to shape it according to your desires. You don't wait for things to happen; you make things happen, which is why you also tend to find yourself in a position of responsibility.

Also, because of your quick mind and ability to strategize, you can keep yourself two steps ahead of everyone else when it comes to executing plans or anticipating future actions. These characteristics help you rise to positions of authority where others can more fully appreciate your drive and direction.

What's Your Superpower?

But you probably enjoy looking beneath the surface of things and reading between the lines. Your X-ray vision lets you see things others can't, making you good at reading people's motivations, solving mysteries of all kinds, or maybe just finding misplaced car keys. You've got the gift, so if you haven't started using it, it's high time you did. Just think of the benefits: You could really start undressing people with your eyes. Winning lottery tickets and grand prize soda-bottle caps will be effortlessly revealed to you. So start practicing! All superheroes know that developing your powers begins with mental training.

Appearance | Possessions | Work

less perfectionist

more perfectionist
