Church Leaders

Sometimes I get frustrated at church. I get the impression that a lot of prominent people in churches have this idea that if they don't see your vision, then it's not of God and it's their duty to block you. In other words, God is put into their box and He is not allowed to come out. It hurts to hear the words spoken against me at church when all i want to do is to make it more youth-friendly in their approach. Funny. So many church leaders are living dinosaurs caught in a time warp and have no use to themselves or others spiritually. Please note that I am not perfect either but I allow others to have their visions as long as they pass the Spirit test in 1 John. I don't pretend to know everything God is doing on earth but too many leaders behave that way. Like, if you don't act/think/talk/dress the way they want, you can't be a good christian. Crazy! Listen to these misconceptions voiced by local church leaders and tell me if you agree:

• Girls with creamed hair can't be christians.
  
• People who DJ gospel music aren't christians.
• If you discuss oral/anal/solo sex in church, you are a perverted troublemaker.
• The pastor alone should know the Bible (exceptions are bible students)
• If you wear anklets, you are not a christian.

There are so many other pieces of crap out there, I can't type them all easily. But it's so hard to fight satan's schemes while fighting christians who are supposed to be on your side too. Almost demoralizing. Will overcome though. preparing for some more clashes soon. Pray for me more.
