Fast food

Seems to be the most successful segment of the food industry in Jamaica especially as the norm is that Jamaicans don't cook on Fridays. Thank God for KFC! It is my personal belief that KFC has to be one of the most profitable franchises in Jamaica. So much so that if they pull out of Jamaica, I am migrating as that is the surest sign that Jamaica's economy is about to collapse completely. Think I'm a bit excessive? Think about it. We black people LOVE chicken. We stop buying chicken means that we have no money. No money means economy is REALLY bad. The rest of the franchises (Burger King, Popeye's, Wendy's, Mother's , etc ) also seems to be raking in big bucks but KFC is the king! Am I biased? If I am, let me know but fast food is such an integral part of my (and most of Jamaica's) life that I can't see myself without it this side of heaven. Later.
