West Indies Cricket

Much hs been said about the decline of the West Indies cricket team. People have been saying that it's the coach, lack of resources, Lara's attitude, the selectors and numerous other reasons. Let me weigh in my piece. The reason why the West Indies team isn't winning much is because (drumroll please)...

THEY ARE INCOMPETENT. THEY ARE NOT GOOD. THEY ARE NOT COMMITTED.

There I've said it I can't bother with the folly. Have you seen them batting? I can bat better than them (if I wasn't afraid of the ball!)! It pains my heart to hear the scores and how many out for less than 10 runs with regularity. And to think they are among the top 4% money earners in the region. I want that job. Get paid US$25 000 to go and bat for 5 minutes. WOW! That's a dream job! Plus the money, endorsement deals, the girls, & the money (did I say the money?) God says you must study to show yourself approved but these guys obviously don't try to improve their craft. They always seem to get out the same way. Can;t they go figure out how to stop it? Plus how come we have so many no-balls being bowled each day? Aren't they trained to bowl properly? If not, why pay a coach? Just send them out without "training" and save the money that pays the coaching staff. Just my opinion. By the way, have you noticed that the team plays better as a team when Lara isn't playing? I wonder why. Just seems so fishy. Well I will say more later but, honestly, this cricket team is not only going nowhere fast but it seems intent on carrying the psyche of the region with it. I pity the poor cricket fan who continually tortures himself (staying up late, listening to the stats, hearing the scandals) in the vain hope that this time the Windies will win a series. Yeah right. That's about as often as when I wear shirts with buttons! Later.
