A Dark Day in Jamaican History.

How could they? I feel so incensed by this. THey killed 3 police officers in 9 hours and no street protests, huh? Guess if it was the other way around, it would be okay to do so? Is this indicative of how the society has devolved? I feel especially cut up by Inspector Walsh's death. He was such a gentleman both by hearing him & hearing the character references. These PARASITES of society come in, cut short productive lives & the society just stays around cowering in fear. I'm so upset about this. When will we say enough is enough & stop the hypocrisy? Even the media. They insist on talking from both sides of their mouths on this issue. For example, why play songs that glorify gunmen (shottas) and gun violence then turn around and condemn murders? How can you go to EVERY demonstration/roadblocks and give their views pre-eminence over the police version EVERYTIME. Aren't they helping to reinforce the stereotypes that badness & hooliganism is to be rewarded? THen why complain aboutt he murder rate? This is one of the worst attacks on the JCF in recent history (remember the Olympic Gardens police station?) and I hope it shocks the nation into action. The police need to get courageous now more than ever & I wish to extend my condolences to the families of the slain police officers. I'm so shocked and saddened at this. It's a direct attack on our societal mores & standards. Personally, I am willing to lose some of my rights & freedoms in return for law & order to prevail. Let's hope that the perpetrators of these heinous acts are brought to justice.
