How can a country run without garbagemen? how can we have a situation where gunmen are extorting RUBBISH TRUCKS? Someone actually suggested that they set up a police post at the city dump! we need to guard RUBBISH TRUCKS now? scary thing, huh? Personally, I think that the government is talking out of both sides of its mouth. You can't declare "war" on crime yet petting the criminals. They know who they are but r unwilling o get them. So why complain. I'd rather hear them say, "Jamaica, we don't want to spend the money required to fight crime. please fend for yourselves as best as you can. meanwhile, we will make use of our bodyguards provided to us by your tax dollars. Have a good night. Hoping you'll survive to see tomorrow." Know it sounds ridiculous but I prefer hearing the truth. Then they spend $200 million buying SUV's and paying off people for work not done. No wonder this government owes so much money! We'll watch thi sone to see if anyone gets punished. Doubt it tho but oh well.
