CWJ

This one rate thing? Is it really better. Heard some consumer groups commenting that it's an effective rate increase as few people call inter-parish regularly. We'll see. Why not 1 rate, unlimited calls? More money for the guys, I think. Just my opinion. Bring on the one rate. Good going CWJ. Can't stop your profits this year. Later.

NWC

You know it's bad when NWC is the best utility in Jamaica but it is. Least amount of complaints so far. Sorry for them too as they have to provide water whether it's paid for or not. Public health concerns. Sorry guys. Blame the government. They are improving, I've noticed. did you know it's really true that they provide the best tasting water in the Caribbean & the cruise ships choose to stock up here. Did you know that you can drink our water straight from the pipe? Give thanks for the blessing. Jamaica has some stuff very few places have. If any of you got a problem with NWC, let me know. I got a mighty pen. Later.

JPS & the Z factor

The JPS' CEO says that Mirant made a bad investment in Jamaica. they got $500 million last quarter which was just enough to help Mirant get out of short term bankruptcy trouble (read it in the paper, read for yourself. observer). If that's bad investment, then what is good? What is this Z factor? Why should we pay for their equipment loss? Didn't they know that the tropics are hurricane prone before they bought the company? Didn't they hear of caveat emptor? I think someone was "influenced" to give them this deal. It's too ridiculous otherwise. They still haven't stopped the powercuts. No extra capacity has been consistently maintained. They are taking us for fools? Just because we live int he tropics. I fel insulted. Added to this is the fact that I have to be paying for stolen electricity. Anyway, more on that later.OUR slashed their settlement though. CEO is upset. Said that this will spell disaster for JPS. What a joke! More on JPS Later.

Money

Why d people love money so much? I always wonder why even in church, people defer to the richer ones. Is it some subconscious thing that if he's richer , he must be more important? God never said that. Isn't His opinion the one that matters? Are you saying drug dealers are more important than me? Plus when you are rich, things get cheaper as people give u free stuff to make friends with you in hope of getting money from you later. Poor people have to pay for EVERYTHING. Guess proverbs holds true after all. The poor have no one to care but the rich have many friends. Just a thought. More on money later.

Why I ask the sex questions. (Disclaimer)

You wouldn't believe the questions I get asked on a daily basis by teens. I place them on the blog to ensure that my answers are even-handed & don't have my own peculiar slant. I have sexual struggles but the questions are from my teens. In fact, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Just so you know. Please make your input though as your answers can help minister to someone else.

Another Question

Is it ok for a married christian couple to take nude pictures of each other for private viewing only? What about home-made porn? Is that a sin? What you guys think? Let me know. later.

Lost a tyre

Was driving in Beverly Hills when I got a flat. Turns out that the tyre's sidewall was busted. No patch possible. Had to get a new tyre. Then I discovered that my rear 2 were smooth as a baby's bottom & my other front tyre had a bulge. Just great. Suddenly, instead of looking for 1 tyre, I needed 4. With a new tyre costing about $5,000 - $7,000 this was not my best day. Lo and behold , I passed a shop with some ALMOST NEW tyres for sale. Bought all 4 for less than $10,000. Just goes to show that God cares about even non-spiritual things in case you wondered. They feel great on the van. Later.
